Scholars and scientists from around the world have found out that people who stay up and wake up late have higher rates of neurological conditions, mental health disorders, and diabetes. They are more likely to use alcohol and drugs, not get enough exercise, and experience psychological stress.
Nearly all successful people around the world get going before the sun rises. Even I wanted to be an early rise for years. But, as soon as my alarm would go off in the morning, all the good objectives, intentions and goals in the world could not let me get out of bed. Even at that time, I understood the importance of waking up early in the morning. So, I even laid out plans and schedules to wake up early in the morning and wrote them. But, that discipline and plans disappeared in the morning.
Here are some key reasons why you struggle waking up early in the morning:
Digital gadgets:
Do you, like most other youngsters, stay up late at night to scroll endlessly through different social media websites, watch movies, or read on your Kindle or iPad? It is time you realised how your screen time interferes with or adversely affects your sleep.

It is a scientific fact that waking up early in the winter. The nature of the sleep patterns of our bodies is dependent on our surroundings – mainly the light. Our body is wired in a way that it wakes up naturally to dawn light. This is why it is difficult to wake up in the dark winter mornings.

In reality, human beings are creatures of routine. If you would mess with your daily routine or body clock, be ready to face the consequences.
Eating habits:
Eating just before you sleep and having a heavy meal at night leads to obesity and laziness but it also alters sleep cycle of the body. More importantly it can create some serious diseases in the body.

Do not use digital gadgets late at night:
This will help you eliminate blue light that is emitted from the screens of your digital gadgets. This blue light disrupts the production of melatonin in your brains which is a hormone produced for sleep promotion in your body.
Make sure you have a consistent schedule over the weekends:
Having a consistent schedule over the weekends will help you feel energetic in the morning throughout the rest of the week. Not having one will make you wake up feeling exhausted across the week. It is difficult to wake up early without an alarm when you are exhausted or tired.Have a proper bedtime routine:
Make it your top priority to have a proper bed routine and get enough sleep. So, stick to a regular bedtime and morning routine. This will help you develop healthy sleep habits and be more active.Eat light and give it few hours:
If you are having a heavy meal at night, give it 4-5 hours before you go to bed or if you are having salad or fruits, take 2-2.5 hours before you sleep.
